As a Yoga instuctor I will encourage you to practice postures within your ability: this enables you to gain flexibility without injury.

One key aspect of yoga that I emphasise is, that of mindfulness: to develop your ability to pay attention to both your body and mind.

This practice of awareness and focus, both on and off the yoga mat, in conjunction with yoga breathing, is a big factor in reducing stress and increasing your sense of well-being.
